Overview
The Asset Library in ACT 3 AI is a centralized storage and management hub for all media elements used in your projects. It provides quick access to B-Roll footage, digital actors, Cameras, sound effects, music, and reusable design assets.
By consolidating creative resources in one location, the Asset Library ensures consistency, accelerates workflows, and supports both individual creators and collaborative teams.
Key Features
- Centralized Asset Hub: Store all media files—videos, audio, 3D props, still images, and Characters.
- Cross-Project Reuse: Assets saved here can be reused across multiple projects without re-uploading.
- Metadata & Tagging: Add tags, descriptions, and categories for easy search and retrieval.
- Version Control: Keep track of updated assets while retaining earlier versions for reference.
- Collaboration Support: Teams can share and manage a shared asset pool, ensuring consistency in brand and production.
How to Use
- Open the Asset Library from the left navigation panel or within the Editor workspace.
- Upload new assets using **Add Asset** → select file type (video, audio, image, prop).
- Add metadata such as tags (e.g., “sci-fi,” “urban city,” “ambient sound”).
- Save the asset to your personal or team library.
- Drag and drop assets directly into the Timeline, Storyboard Panels, or Top Down View.

Example Workflow

Tips
- Use consistent naming and tagging conventions to simplify search.
- Store credit-intensive renders in the Asset Library for quick reuse without regenerating.
- Organize assets into folders (e.g., “Actors,” “Music,” “Props”).
