Account Settings

Overview

The Account Settings section in ACT 3 AI allows you to manage your personal profile, security, billing, and organization preferences. It is accessible from the top-right user menu in the Dashboard or directly from the sidebar under Organization Management.

Key Features

  • **Profile Management:** Update your name, email, and profile picture.
  • **Password & Security:** Change password, enable two-factor authentication (2FA).
  • **Billing Settings:** Manage payment methods, view invoices, update subscription plans.
  • **Credit Monitoring:** Check credit balance and purchase additional credits.
  • **Organization Settings:** If you’re part of a team, manage roles, permissions, and shared credit pools.
  • **Notifications:** Customize email and in-app alerts.

How to Access

  1. Log in at https://app.act3ai.com.
  2. Click your profile icon (top-right corner).
  3. Select **Account Settings** from the dropdown.
  4. Navigate tabs: Profile · Security · Billing · Organization · Notifications.

Sections in Account Settings

Profile

  • Name, display name, and profile image.
  • Contact email and linked accounts (Google, Apple, etc.).

Security

  • Update password.
  • Enable 2FA for extra protection.
  • Manage active sessions and log out of devices.

Billing

  • Update payment methods (credit card, PayPal).
  • View invoices and billing history.
  • Upgrade or downgrade your Subscription Plan.
  • Apply promotional codes.

Credits

  • View current credit balance.
  • Purchase extra credits.
  • Track project-level credit usage.

Organization

  • Add or remove members.
  • Assign roles (Owner, Admin, Editor, Viewer).
  • Manage shared credit pools.
  • Configure permissions for project editing.

Notifications

  • Toggle email alerts for billing, renders, and collaboration.
  • Set in-app notification preferences.

Best Practices

Troubleshooting

  • **Can’t log in** → Reset password or use 2FA backup codes.
  • **Billing error** → Check payment method or contact support.
  • **Missing credits** → Refresh balance or verify in Credit Dashboard.
  • **Organization settings locked** → Confirm you have admin or owner role.
