Overview
The Projects section in ACT 3 AI is the foundation of your creative workflow. Each project acts as a container that holds your scripts, characters, storyboards, renders, and final videos. Projects provide organization, versioning, and collaboration across the entire production pipeline.
1. Purpose
- Centralize all assets related to a single story or production
- Organize Scenes, Shots, Characters, and media in one place
- Allow team collaboration under Organization management
- Enable version control and structured exports
2. Creating a New Project
- From the Dashboard, select New Project
- Enter required details:
* Title: Project name * Type: Film, TV, Social Video, Marketing Clip, Animation, etc. * Genre: Drama, Action, Comedy, etc. * Aspect Ratio: 16:9, 9:16, 21:9, or custom
- Optional metadata: tags, description, notes
3. Project Structure
A project contains:
- Scripts and Scenes
- Characters and Digital_Actors
- Storyboard_Panels and Top_Down_View layouts
- Import_Script and Export_Script integration
- Render outputs in Build_Video and Render_Queue
- Linked Cloud Storage assets
4. Collaboration
- Invite team members via Organization settings
- Assign roles: writer, director, animator, admin
- Track edits with history and activity logs
- Shared access to Documentation and tutorials
5. Storage & Billing Integration
- Project storage counted towards Cloud_Storage_Management quota
- Credit usage tracked via Credit_System and Billing_Model
- Plan limits applied based on Subscription_Plan tier
6. Project Management Features
- Project dashboard with summary view
- Version history of scripts and renders
- Import external assets: Import_BRoll, audio, reference images
- Export complete package for Final Draft or distribution
- Accessible via Dashboard or left-side navigation
- Quick actions:
* Create new Scene or Shot * Import/Export scripts * Launch AI_Wizard * Start Build_Video
8. Roadmap
- Advanced project templates by genre
- Automated backup & restore per project
- Project-level analytics (credit usage, render time, storage)
- Public/Private project publishing within the community
