Story Structure
Overview
The Story Structure feature in ACT 3 AI organizes your project into a narrative hierarchy of Acts → Scenes → Shots, with optional Story Beats in between. This structure helps ensure your story flows logically, maintains thematic consistency, and is easy to manage through AI Wizard, Editor, and Storyboard Panels.
Why It Matters
- Creative Clarity: Keeps writers, directors, and editors aligned.
- Pacing Control: Balances action, tension, and resolution.
- Production Planning: Converts abstract ideas into concrete scenes and shots for scheduling and rendering.
- Collaboration: Allows multiple contributors to work on the same structure in real time.
Core Levels
- Acts – Major sections of your story (e.g., Setup, Conflict, Resolution).
- Story Beats – Key narrative moments within an act. See Story Beats.
- Scenes – Specific time/place interactions with character goals. See Scenes.
- Shots – Individual camera views or moments. See Shots.

- Start a New Project in AI Wizard and set genre, tone, and audience.
