Motion Capture (MoCap) in ACT 3 AI allows creators to record and apply real human movements to digital actors within their projects. By combining motion tracking with AI-driven animation, MoCap brings natural, lifelike performances to virtual productions without the need for costly studio setups.

Motion Capture Workflow
1. **Select Your Capture Method**
Choose between: * **Full-Body MoCap:** Using professional suits (e.g., Xsens, Rokoko). * **Device-Based MoCap:** Using smartphones, webcams, or depth cameras. * **Facial Capture:** For lip-sync and expression animation.
2. **Connect MoCap Device to ACT 3 AI**
Use the platform’s MoCap integration tools to link your device or import motion files (FBX, BVH).
3. **Record the Performance**
Capture the actor’s movements, facial expressions, or gestures in real time.
4. **Apply Data to Digital Actors**
Assign the motion data to a Digital Actor in your scene.
5. **Adjust & Refine Animation**
Use AI smoothing and cleanup tools to remove jitter, fix foot sliding, or enhance subtle movements.
6. **Sync with Dialogue & Timing**
Match animations to pre-recorded or AI-generated voice lines.
7. **Preview in Virtual Set**
Review the motion in context with the environment, lighting, and camera paths.
8. **Finalize & Save**
Store the motion capture data for reuse in future scenes or projects.

1. **File Formats:** FBX, BVH, CSV motion data. 2. **Devices:** Xsens, Rokoko Smartsuit, Perception Neuron, iPhone TrueDepth, Kinect, webcam-based trackers. 3. **Integration:** Compatible with Blender, Unreal Engine, and Unity exports.
