Overview

The Build Video feature in ACT 3 AI is the final assembly stage where your scenes, shots, and B-Roll come together into a finished production. It provides an intuitive interface for arranging clips, applying transitions, adding audio, and exporting your project in professional formats.

Whether your content was generated by AI, imported from external sources, or a combination of both, the Build Video process ensures it is polished, synced, and ready for publication.

Key Capabilities

• Multi-Track Timeline: Combine AI-generated video, B-Roll, music, and sound effects on separate layers.
• Transitions & Effects: Apply crossfades, wipes, overlays, and filters between shots.
• Audio Mixing: Adjust dialogue, music, and effects levels independently.
• Aspect Ratio Control: Export in multiple formats (16:9, 9:16, 1:1).
• Render Queue Integration: Send final compositions to the Render Queue for processing.
• Preview & Adjust: Real-time preview with frame-by-frame accuracy before rendering.

How to Build Your Video

1. Open your project in the Editor and navigate to the **Build Video** mode.
2. Drag and drop scenes, shots, and B-Roll into the timeline.
3. Arrange the sequence in your desired order.
4. Add transitions between shots if needed.
5. Layer in background music and effects.
6. Use color grading to ensure visual consistency.
7. Preview the entire video and make final adjustments.

Export Options

• Formats: MP4, MOV, ProRes
• Resolutions: 720p, 1080p, 4K
• Frame Rates: 24fps, 30fps, 60fps

Best Practices

• Keep pacing consistent with your story arc and tone.
• Match lighting and color grading across all clips.
• Test exports in lower resolution before rendering in full 4K to save credits.
• Use scene locking to prevent last-minute accidental changes.

Credits & Billing

• Rendering consumes credits based on resolution, length, and chosen rendering engine (Google Veo 3, WAN AI, Runway Integration).
• Check the Credits Panel for real-time usage before exporting.
• Exporting at lower resolutions or shorter lengths reduces credit consumption.

Troubleshooting

• Video looks different after export → Ensure color grading is applied before rendering.
• Audio out of sync → Check frame rate settings and adjust before final render.
• Long render times → Queue overnight using the Render Queue.
