Overview

The Digital Actor feature lets you generate and manage AI‑powered characters—complete with voice, motion, and visual style—for use in your video projects. From hero protagonists to background extras, Digital Actors deliver consistent performances without the need for live shoots.

Key Capabilities

• AI‑Driven Voice & Dialogue: Convert your script lines into natural‑sounding speech using selectable voice profiles (gender, age, accent).
• Motion & Gesture: Choose from preset movement styles (dramatic, subtle, comedic) or record custom motion with simple controls.
• Visual Style Presets: Apply look presets (cartoon, photorealistic, stylized) to match your project’s aesthetic.
• Emotion & Expression: Adjust emotional intensity sliders (happy, sad, angry, surprised) to fine‑tune facial expressions and body language.

Creating a Digital Actor

1. New Actor Setup: Click “+ Digital Actor” and enter a name and description.
2. Choose Voice Profile: Select from AI voice models or upload a reference sample for cloning.
3. Select Motion Style: Pick a motion preset or record custom gestures using your webcam.
4. Pick Visual Look: Apply one of the built‑in style templates or upload texture references for custom shaders.

Customization & Editing

• Fine‑Tune Voice: Adjust pitch, speed, and tone sliders; add emphasis or pauses with simple markers in your script.
• Blend Motion Styles: Combine two or more movement presets to create hybrid performances.
• Facial Expression Editor: Use a visual timeline to keyframe eyebrow raises, smiles, and eye gaze.
• Outfit & Appearance: Swap costumes, hairstyles, and accessories from the built‑in library or upload your own 3D assets.

Integration with Workflow

• Script Linkage: Assign your Digital Actor to dialogue lines in the Editor for automatic voice-over generation.
• Timeline Placement: Drag your actor from the Cast page onto the Top‑Down or Timeline views to position performances.
• Storyboard & Panels: Embed your actor’s thumbnail into storyboard frames for consistent visual reference.
• Render Queue: Add complete performances to the Video Render Queue for batch exporting at any quality level.

Collaboration & Sharing

• Shared Actor Library: Save commonly used actors to a team library for reuse across projects.
• Version History: Track changes to voice, motion, and look with full version control and rollback options.
• Review & Approval: Share preview clips of your Digital Actor’s performance with stakeholders for feedback.
