Overview

The Export Distribution feature in ACT 3 AI manages how your final video projects are exported, packaged, and shared. It supports industry-standard formats for editing, publishing, and direct distribution across platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, or internal review channels.

Export Formats

  • Video Files:
    • MP4 – lightweight, web-ready
    • MOV / ProRes – professional post-production
    • WebM – optimized for browsers
  • Editing Formats:
    • EDL, AAF – for non-linear editors (Premiere, Avid)
    • USD, FBX – for 3D/VFX workflows
  • Resolutions: 720p, 1080p, 4K (aspect ratios: 16:9, 9:16, 1:1)

How to Export

  1. From Build Video, select **Export Options**.
  2. Choose output format (MP4, ProRes, EDL, etc.).
  3. Configure:
    1. Resolution and frame rate
    2. Subtitles / dubbing languages
    3. Delivery platform (YouTube, TikTok, Vimeo, etc.)
  4. Click Export.
  5. Monitor progress in the Render Queue.

Distribution Options

  • Direct Publishing: Upload automatically to YouTube, TikTok, or private cloud storage.
  • Team Review: Share secure preview links within your organization.
  • Investor Deliverables: Export pitch decks and annotated cuts.
  • Archiving: Save master files in long-term storage.

Best Practices

  • Export test cuts in 720p/1080p before committing to 4K to save credits.
  • Use platform-specific aspect ratios (9:16 for TikTok, 16:9 for YouTube).
  • Generate subtitles for accessibility and SEO.
  • Keep ProRes masters for professional editing, but distribute MP4 for sharing.

Troubleshooting
