Overview

The Visual Style settings in ACT 3 AI allow creators to define the overall look, mood, and aesthetic of their video project. By selecting a style profile, you influence how the AI renders colors, lighting, textures, and artistic tone across scenes, shots, and set designs.

Visual styles can be applied globally to an entire project or selectively to individual sequences for varied artistic expression.

Key Capabilities

  • Preset Styles: Choose from cinematic, photorealistic, animation, stylized, noir, vintage, and other predefined looks.
  • Custom Styles: Create your own by adjusting color grading, lighting profiles, texture sharpness, and depth of field.
  • Model-Specific Styles: Some integrations like Google Veo 3 and Hunyuan Integration offer exclusive style presets.
  • Scene-Level Control: Override the global style for specific scenes or shots.
  • Style Persistence: Maintain consistent visual tone across episodes or multi-part productions.

How to Set Visual Style

  1. From the New Project creation screen, select your desired style in the **Visual Style** dropdown.
  2. If editing an existing project, open the Editor workspace and click the **Visual Style** panel.
  3. Browse available presets or create a custom configuration.
  4. Apply the style globally or to specific scenes and shots.
  5. Preview changes instantly using the Preview panel or Render Queue.

Tips & Best Practices

  • Choose a style that matches your project’s genre (e.g., cinematic for drama, bold colors for animation).
  • Combine with cinematography controls to fine-tune lighting and camera angles.
  • Test multiple styles on the same shot to compare results before rendering the full project.
  • Maintain style consistency for branding and visual identity.

Example Use Cases

  • A noir crime short film with high-contrast monochrome lighting.
  • A fantasy animation with painterly textures and vibrant colors.
  • A corporate video with neutral tones and clean compositions.
  • A horror teaser using desaturated colors and heavy shadows.
