Preview
Overview
The Preview feature in ACT 3 AI allows creators to generate quick, AI-rendered previews of their projects before committing full resources to rendering. It bridges the gap between script editing, timeline planning, and final output—helping users validate pacing, visuals, and AI prompts in real-time.
Key Capabilities
- Quick Renders: Generate low-resolution previews of scenes or shots directly in the Editor workspace.
- Resolution Options: Choose from Draft, Medium, High, or 4K preview modes depending on your needs and credit budget.
- Inline Playback: Watch previews within the Preview pane or directly inside the Storyboard view.
- Regeneration: One-click update of previews after script or shot prompt changes.
- Cost Awareness: Shows estimated credit consumption before rendering.
How to Use
- Open the Editor and select a shot, scene, or sequence from the Timeline.
- Click **Preview → Generate**.
- Choose your quality level and AI engine (e.g., Google Veo 3, WAN AI, Runway).
- Watch the preview in the Preview panel.
- Regenerate if adjustments are made to script, shot prompts, or camera setups.
Collaboration
- Share previews in collaborative sessions with teammates.
- Comment and leave feedback inline on the timeline or storyboard.
- Lock approved previews to prevent further changes.
Best Practices
- Use low-resolution previews for early drafts and switch to high quality for final checks.
- Preview small segments before rendering full scenes to save credits.
- Split longer sequences into multiple previews for easier iteration.
