Audio Tracks

The Audio Track feature in ACT 3 AI allows you to generate, import, and sync music and sound effects directly into your scenes or shots. This enables creators to add cinematic soundscapes, voiceovers, and music layers that match the mood of the story arc.

Key Capabilities

  • AI-Generated Music: Compose dynamic tracks with AI writing tools trained for cinematic scoring.
  • Import Audio: Add external audio clips or licensed music from the Media Library.
  • Layered Sound Design: Blend dialogue, music, and sound effects in sync with video.
  • Adaptive Sync: Automatically adjust timing to align with scene beats and story beats.

How to Use

  1. In the Editor workspace, open the **Audio Panel**.
  2. Choose from **Generate Music**, **Import Track**, or **Browse Media Library**.
  3. Drag and drop audio onto the timeline to match specific shots or transitions.
  4. Use the Music Sync tool to align beats with visual pacing.
  5. Adjust volume, fade-in/fade-out, and looping in the timeline.
  6. Preview the audio alongside rendered previews before finalizing in Build Video.

Example Audio Uses

Track Type Example Usage Credit Cost
AI-Generated Music (30s) Background theme for TikTok clip 30 credits
Imported Audio Licensed song or narration Free (user-provided)
Ambient Soundtrack (2 min) Film sequence scoring 120 credits

Best Practices

  • Use short AI-generated loops for rapid prototyping.
  • Layer music with sound effects to build atmosphere.
  • Reserve high-credit AI compositions for final versions of final videos.
  • Check volume balance between dialogue, effects, and music to avoid clipping.

Troubleshooting

  • If tracks don’t sync, re-run Music Sync to realign beats.
  • For distorted audio, lower export bitrate or check track format.
  • If audio doesn’t play in previews, confirm it’s added to the correct timeline track.
