Overview

The Actor Library in ACT 3 AI is a centralized hub for managing all your digital actors, character assets, and reusable performances. It allows creators to build, customize, and reuse actors across multiple projects without starting from scratch each time.

This library streamlines the process of casting, designing, and integrating characters into your scripts, making it an essential part of the creative workflow.

  • Centralized Asset Hub: Store all your actors, their looks, traits, and performances in one place.
  • Cross-Project Reusability: Actors can be reused across multiple projects, ensuring consistency in branding and storytelling.
  • Custom Actor Creation: Import or design your own characters using the Editor or integrate them with Digital Actors tools.
  • Search & Filter: Easily browse actors by name, genre, style, or traits.
  • Collaboration Ready: Shared libraries let team members access and edit common actors for co-creation.

How to Use

  1. Open the Actor Library from the main menu or within the Editor.
  2. Browse or search for existing actors.
  3. To create a new actor, click **Add Actor** and define:
  * Name & Role (e.g., “Detective Maria”)  
  * Appearance (clothing, hairstyle, age)  
  * Traits (personality, accent, style)  
  * Performance notes (tone, delivery style)  
  1. Save the actor for future use across your projects.
  2. Drag and drop selected actors into your Timeline or Storyboard Panels.

Example Workflow

  • Import an existing Characters from your script.
  • Customize its look and performance inside the Digital Actors Module.
  • Save it into the Actor Library.
  • Reuse the same actor for sequels, campaigns, or related content.
