Overview

The Runway Integration connects ACT 3 AI to the Runway cloud platform, enabling advanced AI‑powered effects such as background removal, style transfer, and motion tracking on your video clips.

Key Capabilities

• Background Removal: Automatically isolate subjects and replace or blur backgrounds.
• Style Transfer: Apply artistic models (e.g., “Van Gogh,” “Cyberpunk”) to your footage.
• Motion Tracking: Lock effects or overlays onto moving objects.
• Color Grading AI: Use Runway’s neural color‑grading presets for cinematic looks.

How to Use

1. Select a clip in your Timeline or Render Queue and click **Effects → Runway**.
2. Choose an effect category (Background, Style, Tracking, Color).
3. Configure parameters (e.g., target style, tracking points).
4. Click **Apply**: the clip is sent to Runway, processed, then returned to your project for review.

Pricing & Credits

• Runway effects consume R‑Credits based on effect complexity and clip length (e.g., 0.5 credit/sec for background removal).
• The Credit Estimator shows projected costs before you apply an effect.

Troubleshooting & Tips

• For clean masks, ensure good subject contrast in your source clip.
• Use motion tracking when your shot contains a clear, single moving subject.
• Apply color grading last to avoid compounding style artifacts.
