Overview
The Export Script feature in ACT 3 AI allows you to take your written or AI-assisted scripts and export them into industry-standard formats. This makes it easy to continue work in professional screenwriting tools, share drafts with collaborators, or archive project scripts outside the platform.
Supported Formats
- Final Draft (.fdx): Industry standard for professional screenwriters.
- PDF (.pdf): Shareable read-only version for pitches, reviews, or archival.
- Text (.txt): Lightweight text export for quick notes or external editing.
- Markdown (.md): Flexible format for technical pipelines or developer integration.
How to Export
- Open your project in the Editor.
- Navigate to **File → Export Script**.
- Select your preferred export format (FDX, PDF, TXT, MD).
- Choose whether to export the full script, selected scenes, or Acts → Scenes → Shots only.
- Click **Export**, and your file will be generated.
Integration
