Runway Integration

The Runway Integration in ACT 3 AI connects your projects to Runway ML’s advanced generative video models, enabling high-quality, stylized, and experimental outputs directly within the Editor workspace. This integration is ideal for creative exploration, stylized video creation, and fast iteration during pre-production.

Key Capabilities

  • Text-to-Video: Generate clips directly from shot prompts or scene descriptions.
  • Style & Model Selection: Access multiple Runway models, including those optimized for cinematic realism, animation, and abstract effects.
  • Frame Interpolation: Smooth motion between generated frames for a more natural look.
  • Masking & Inpainting: Replace or enhance specific regions in a shot while keeping the rest intact.

How to Use

  1. In the Editor, select a scene or shot and click **AI → Runway**.
  2. Enter your description, including action tags, camera instructions, and any style presets.
  3. Choose your Runway model, resolution, and frame rate.
  4. Click **Generate**: the clip will appear in your Preview pane for review.
  5. Add approved clips to the Timeline or Render Queue.

Pricing & Credits

  • Runway generations consume R-Credits based on clip length, resolution, and selected model complexity.
  • Advanced features like masking and frame interpolation may incur additional costs.

Troubleshooting & Tips

  • Keep prompts under 120 words for faster generation and better focus.
  • For complex visual effects, break your request into multiple short prompts.
  • Use masking to refine only problem areas instead of regenerating full clips.
  • Combine Runway’s stylization with Google Veo 3 for hybrid results — Veo for realism, Runway for artistic effects.
